About us
Our supports are dynamic, personalised and consistent, seeking to support the wider community with more choice and control over their lives.
Who we are
We have a culturally diverse workforce, with local knowledge and local representation.
We also have highly skilled professionals such as psychologists, teachers and nurses working on- the-ground. Our team is varied, intelligent, hard- working, fun and compassionate. Care is an innate quality in all of our staff members.
Our team is here for the long-term, and we never need to rely on agency staff. Once a client is linked in with us, they can expect the same person to support them for a long-time.
This is how companionship is developed; we don’t want our supports to feel like a temporary aid.
At Kimberley Care group, we pride ourselves on our dynamic supports: no day will ever be the same. We make use of the beautiful Kimberley with fishing, beach visits and returning to country as much as possible. As homelessness was one of the biggest challenges of providing effective care in the Kimberley, our focus on accommodation has made a big impact. We offer long-term and short-term accommodation options within our homes.
How it all started
From its modest beginnings as a 3-person support worker business, Kimberley Care Group has grown exponentially over time into a five- point care model: accommodation, community access, mental health support, nursing and daily life support.
The reason? There was a distinct need in the Kimberley for an all-encompassing care model that could provide community and in-house supports, as well as facilitate a means to end the homelessness crisis.
By keenly focusing on properties that were accessible for many, we were able to support many vulnerable people to not only stay on country, but to thrive in a comfortable and modern home that actually feels like home.
