Personal Care & In-Home Support | Dignified NDIS Home Help with Kimberley Care Group
At Kimberley Care Group, we believe support at home should feel safe, familiar, and tailored to you.
What is in-home support under the NDIS?
In-home support helps NDIS participants with personal care and daily tasks, delivered in their own home or accommodation. This includes help with hygiene, mobility, meals, and household duties that support independent living.
As part of your NDIS Core Supports, in-home support services promote safety, comfort, and dignity every day.
What’s the difference between personal care and domestic assistance?
Personal care involves direct support with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility. Domestic assistance covers tasks like cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal prep. At KCG, we often combine both for a complete in-home support solution.
Can I choose my own support workers?
Yes. Kimberley Care Group takes time to match you with support workers who fit your preferences and routines. You’ll work with a familiar, consistent team (not agency staff.)
Do I need clinical or nursing approval for in-home support?
Not always. Most personal care and domestic supports are non-clinical and can be funded under Core Supports. If your needs change or become more complex, we can help connect you with our nursing team or external providers as needed.
Not sure if we can support you?
The majority of our services are covered by NDIS funding, however we have been flexible with private supports and brokerage before. We also offer Veterans’ Affairs funding as an option.
