The East Kimberley takeover: we’re still growing!

Jose and Tahnee

As we know, working and living in a remote part of Australia has its challenges (as well as its rewards).

We are distant from many resources meaning we need to lean on one another for support more often than not. This is what keeps us distinct from our metro-counterparts, and keeps the Kimberley thriving. We all collaborate and work together to find the best solution. But, when that solution – such as support worker services, other NDIS supports and even medical attention – cannot be sourced locally, it makes people consider whether living remote is right for them.

With our news, we hope to make it a little easier for people to live and flourish in the beautiful Kimberley region. So, without further ado: we will be taking our services East.

East Kimberley, that is. We’re expanding into Kununurra!

Due to the astronomical growth of Kimberley Care Group over the last year, it’s about time we expanded our services and supported those who live in even more remote areas than Broome.

Read on for more details.

We want to support as many people as possible, so make sure you get your referrals through as soon as you can. Currently, we have full capacity to take on many referrals. But that won’t last long.

This is a new chapter for KCG as well as a new opportunity for those who live in the East Kimberley. We hope through this expansion of services, many more people will have the ability to access high-quality community support services. Right on their doorstep.
